An interactive installation that transforms sound into a statue.
"A statue is an object which often serves as a memory of something - usually a person or an event. But what is the ultimate thing that caused a statue to be built? Was it the hammer, or the man using the hammer, or the parents of the man, or their parents?"
"All actions have an infinite influence on the world, although most of the time it's not clear how. The Immortaliser shows this by capturing your sound, and processing it into a statue. By making sounds you can see how they affect the statue. But in what way will this effect last? A loud sound might cause a large impact initially, but this could be masked by future actions, whereas not making a sound at all could leave its mark on the statue forever."
